Hannah Shake
Hannah is a 11-year-old from Herculaneum who loves to attend church and youth group at Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely. Hannah’s mom, Christina Shake, is especially proud that she has memorized The Lord’s Prayer and The Apostle Creed and is able to recite it every Sunday in church. This is a milestone as Hannah’s autism limits her ability to communicate and she works hard to use her words. Hannah is reaching goals for using four to five word sentences. Her reading and math skills are improving as well.
Hannah attends Crystal City Elementary School as well as Helping Hands and Horses therapeutic riding program and Special Olympics each year. She loves her Tinker Bell dolls, going to movies and swimming in the summer. Hannah has the love and support of her two sisters Emily, 25, and Grace, 9.
