Mary Rose Harrington
As a kindergartner, Mary Rose Harrington has been treated for cancer for more than half of her life. This happy and brave 6-year-old has educated the children in her school about cancer, medical treatments and most importantly – hope. Mary’s sunny personality has helped her raise thousands of dollars for CureSearch, Friends of Kids with Cancer and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
She has even become a role model for adults inspiring many to become involved in raising money to find a cure for childhood cancers. Mary has recently received her last treatment on Jan. 26, 2016. Her parents, Becky and John Harrington of Sycamore Hills in North St. Louis County, are full of hope for their loving daughter.
