Noah Madden
Noah is an energetic 8-year-old boy who doesn’t let anything slow him down. He has a zest for life and loves all things Disney! His mom describes him as entertaining, compassionate, and brave. Every day is a happy day for Noah.
He has an ability to find the good in everything. For example, Noah spent 60 days in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He was born with significant heart defects and Heterotaxy Syndrome, which is a rare condition where the heart and other organs are not formed correctly or are in the wrong position within the body). He’s had three open heart surgeries and many different procedures. But when you ask Noah what he remembers about being in the hospital for such a significant length of time, he talks about the cool toys he got!
Noah’s parents, Alana and Casey, say that although Noah only has two chambers to his heart, that hasn’t slowed him down one bit. His favorite activities are swimming, golf, Legos, doing craft projects, and watching movies.
